| Savant’s state-of-the-art architecture, 'DATRICS' helps Savant solutions run efficiently and easily customizable, while providing a rich set of tools that speed the work of developers and business process owners alike.
DATRICS has been conceived, designed and developed with the “primary business needs and the primary business user” in mind rather than the dictates of an IT based approach. Consequently, DATRICS has been shaped from ground up to be a highly configurable platform that not only enables a customized deployment of BPM solutions, but also seamlessly integrate with the existing IT systems in an organization and additionally include within its holistic control, the execution of purely manual business processes that are not supported by any IT system.
DATRICS adopts specifications and methodologies, endorsed by industry-standard organizations such as WFMC, BPMI and OASIS. At a high-level, DATRICS features could be categorized as follows:
- Provides a framework for modeling the entire business and its subservient business processes from end-to-end, associate business events or milestones for monitoring and control, identify deliverables, etc., and in short capture the entire organization in terms of meaningful BPM parameters.
- Business Processes are broken down into atomic work units and identified with roles and responsibilities. Feedback loops are tightly knit at the work unit level, simulating a lock and key mechanism between contiguous processes.
- Alerts and notifications are created in real-time and automatically escalated when thresholds are crossed thus providing an electronic bulletin board for notifying key personnel on exceptions, escalations, service levels, any non-conformance to business rules, etc.
- Real-time monitoring is enabled through a web-based interface and preemptively posted to the assigned role demanding a response. Time variant assignment of personnel to the roles is fully catered for.
- A robust back-end support for collecting business data as the processes are in progress is the base for hard copy reports and creation of business intelligence parameters.
